Synchronization

Synchronization helps keep the protection up-to-date, and is therefore essential to protect computers. Despite the synchronization process takes place automatically under normal circumstances, it is also possible to perform it manually.

Synchronization is a bidirectional process. On one hand, it upgrades the protection engines and the protection version, and applies the latest configuration changes made by the administrator in the Web console to the computer. On the other, the computer itself sends detection data and information about other events to the Web console.

The process is extremely simple.

To launch a synchronization task, right-click the protection icon in the Notification area, next to the system clock.

In the Start menu, select Sync. The icon's appearance will change during the synchronization process.
